The Al Furjan-based residential development is on schedule to complete in Q2 2019, Dubai’s Azizi Developments announced


Construction on Azizi Developments’ Farishta Azizi project has passed the 86% construction mark, with external works on the Dubai residential development in the Al Furjan mega-development also hitting 60% completion.

The project is on schedule for completion in Q2 2019, the development giant said in a statement, with final finishes underway – including the installation of wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, sanitary fixtures, and final mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.

More than 85% of the façade work is also completed, while work on the second fix of the mechanical-electrical and plumping is at 95%.

One hundred and thirty seven studios, 124 one-bedrooms, 15 two-bedroom apartments, and eight spacious penthouses make up Farishta Azizi.

One of the 20 Azizi developments in the Al Furjan mega-development, Farishta Azizi has a retail precint of over 7,200 sq ft – located between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Speaking on the news, Farhad Azizi, chief executive officer at Azizi Developments, said: “With over 1,800 residences already handed over in Al Furjan, Farishta Azizi owners will move into an established community with a vast array of lifestyle amenities.”

The developer said it has deployed a “full force of contracting teams” to ensure 100% completion as per the delivery schedule.

The construction updates comes after a busy start for the UAE-based development giant.

January saw it award a $58.8m (AED216m) construction contract to Chirag Contracting, part of BRV Global Group, for four plots in Dubai.

Azizi’s contract covers an area of 9.3ha, and is divided into two parts. Part 1 of the contract is valued at $44.8m (AED164.8m), and covers three plots within Azizi Riviera’s Phase 1.

A month later it announced its $128m (AED470m) Dubai Healthcare City-based project, Azizi Aliyah, has passed the 90% completion mark in preparation for handover in Q2 2019.
